The Great Escape

Today’s Through the Bible Reading: Galatians 1:1 – 4:7

As Christians, children of the King, we have escaped the doom and gloom of this world. Oh we may experience the hardships it brings, but it no longer dictates our outcome, our perspective, or our hearts desires.

Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Gal. 1:4-5

God Himself redeemed us! We’ve been purchased with the blood of Jesus Christ (1 Pt 1:18, 19); forgiven of all our sins (Col 2:13);  justified, the record that detailed our sin has been taken away and we’re declared innocent (Rom 3:24); God has washed us, sanctified us (1 Cor 6:11); He has given us new life (1 Cor 5:17); He has given us eternal life through Jesus Christ (Titus 3:7); He fills us with His Spirit and dwells within us (1 Jn 4:13); He has given us joy for our sadness and filled our heavy hearts with praise (Isa 61:3); He has given us all we need to live life in Him (2 Pt1:3); we have been set free and delivered from this present evil world (Gal.1:4, 5).
