He is Mighty to Save

Do you serve the God of all creation? Is He your God, who owns your heart, soul, and has won your affection? He is an awesome God, who goes before us and His plans are good.

In today’s reading, Israel was facing the impossible: giants, walled cities, and a fierce river. But these things didn't concern God, He created all of them and intended to use each of them to show Israel His might and love for them.

Hear, Israel: You are now about to cross the Jordan to go in and dispossess nations greater and stronger than you, with large cities that have walls up to the sky. The people are strong and tall--Anakites! You know about them and have heard it said: "Who can stand up against the Anakites?" But be assured today that the LORD your God is the one who goes across ahead of you like a devouring fire… Deut 9:1-3

What an awesome God, who holds all power, yet desires to show us His kindness.

God has done marvelous things for us! “Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honor all the day.” Psalm 71:8

He is worthy of our praise!
