On the Cross…
Jesus Fulfilled the Law
Today’s Through the Bible Reading: Leviticus 11:1-13:46
Abbreviated Reading: Leviticus 11:1-2; 13:38-46
It’s impossible for us to live up to God’s standard and obey the law. This reading through Leviticus will show us that! And that is exactly what God intended!
Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:24-26
What was and is impossible for man, is possible with God. What was impossible for us to accomplish, Jesus did for us on the cross.
You see, Jesus Christ perfectly and completely satisfied God’s law, fulfilling every aspect that it pointed to.
“And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.” Philippians 2:8 nkjv
Through Christ’s obedience our lives were saved!
As we mentioned yesterday, the book of Hebrews lays out the fulfillment of what we find here in Leviticus. Consider how perfectly God's law is fulfilled in Christ. He lived a perfect life, and laid down His life as the perfect sacrifice - as required by the law.

I will NEVER be SEPARATED from God (Heb. 7:25)
By it I have...

Because of it I am...

Take time today to reflect on all Christ has done for us. Our precious Jesus is coming again. So let's get out our Bibles, open it up, obey what we read, and live righteously as we eagerly anticipate His return.
