Berean or Thessalonian?

Today’s Through the Bible Reading: Acts 17:1-18:17; Thessalonians 1-2

Can you relate to the Berean or Thessalonian? Do you examine the Scriptures every day with great eagerness or treat God’s Word with indifference?

Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. Acts 17:10, 11

Knowing, studying, meditating on, and loving God’s Word matters!

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” 2 Timothy 3:16 “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

God’s Word is complete. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His Word is constant, consistent, and enduring. So, dig into His Word today, be like a Berean and feed your hungry soul.

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
