Ransomed
Today’s devotion is from Jesus, Day by Day
Today’s Through the Bible Reading: Acts 28:11-31; Ephesians 1-3
In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. Ephesians 1:7
The word redeemed means “to be released upon payment of a ransom.” As believers in Jesus Christ, we have been redeemed from the penalty of sin, bought with “the precious blood of Christ” (Col. 1:14; 1 Pet. 1:19).
This redemption was promised throughout the Old Testament.
