Boast in the Lord

Today’s Through the Bible Reading: Jeremiah 7-10

“…Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might…” Jeremiah 9:23

Jeremiah spoke a lot about our nature apart from God’s Word. He puts our wisdom in perspective when he compares it to the Lord’s. You see, it’s God’s Word that anchors our minds in a world that wants to toss us to and fro.
