Jesus is the Wisdom Job Spoke of

Today’s Through the Bible Reading: Job 27-29

Abbreviated Reading: Job 28

"And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding." Job 28:28

Sin is sin, Jesus had to die to pay for ours. Let's not spend our life trying to validate it or call it something it's not. It leads to death and was carried on the cross by our precious Jesus.

Jesus Himself is Wisdom (Prov 8:12). Jesus is the wisdom Job spoke of:

“Then He looked at wisdom and appraised it; He confirmed it and tested it.” Job 28:27 niv

Indeed, the wisdom of God, Jesus Christ was confirmed by the Father (Matt. 3:17, 17:5); He was tested (Matt. 4:1–11; Luke 22:42) and found to be perfect (Heb. 5:8-9).

Because He is perfect, He has made us whole, and we are free to walk in Him (Wisdom Himself). We are no longer slaves to sin or need to cling to compromise hoping for it's false promise of satisfaction. Jesus is wisdom, drink deep of Him and run fast from sin - that my friends is to understand the work He has accomplished in our lives.
