The Way, the Truth, and the Life
Today’s Through the Bible Reading: Mark 14:22-25; Matt. 26:21-29; Luke 22:19-30; John 13:31-38
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. ( Jn 14:6) There is only One Way to heaven and that is through Jesus. “I, even I, am the LORD, And besides Me there is no savior.” Isaiah 43:11
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12
It’s only through Christ’s work on the cross that we can find forgiveness of sin and eternal life.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
When we sinned (even one time) we broke God’s law and owed a penalty we could not pay (Isa 64:6; Rm 3:20-23, 6:23; Gal 3:11; James 2:10). Jesus paid the penalty for us (Rm 4:25, 5:9; Gal 2:16, 3:13; Titus 2:14). Believing in Jesus as our Savior, we receive salvation (Acts 4:12; Rm 10:9, 10). God forgives us, declaring us not guilty of the sin we committed (Isa 61:10; Acts 13:39; Rm 3:24-26). We can stand guiltless before God because of Jesus!
"I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins." Isaiah 43:25
Because of Jesus we can “Forget the former things; and not dwell on the past” (Isa 43:18) Because God promises, “if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Cor 5:17)
Enjoy newness of life in Him today as you fill your heart and mind with His Word.
