Today’s Bible Reading: 1 Timothy 3:1-6:21

God's Word is miraculously relevant. When we find our mind full of questions, God's Word contains the answers. In today’s reading Paul gives young Timothy a ton of answers and practical advice.

Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. 1 Timothy 6:18-19

Our life and purpose here on earth is truly simple at its core: To please God and bring glory to Him. It's sin that complicates things and adds confusing nuances. I so look forward to that wonderful day when the Lord calls us home. That’s when life for us will really begin. When all is set right and we are in Heaven with Jesus!

So while we wait with bated breath for that soon coming day – do good! Live to reflect Christ, be rich in good works, kind, ready to give, willing share, hospitable – and you will be storing up an eternal investment that you can actually take with you.
