Job’s prayer reveals God’s Goodness

"Does He not see my ways and count my every step?" Job 31:4

God orchestrated His plan throughout history perfectly. It is HIS-STORY. Even when circumstances seem to be coincidences, we can be certain that God is in control and is coordinating and orchestrating events. How comforting this is! The ultimate Creator, the master builder, the supreme designer, and the most faithful watchman is overseeing the blueprint and details of our lives. Certainly He is able to guide our steps today as we anticipate His return!

Job had no idea that his sorrows and hardships were painting a precious picture of Christ himself and Jesus would be reflected in his life.  Through trials and difficulties, Jesus shines through.  Through Job's story we find shadows and pictures of Jesus. 

We do not serve a God who cannot relate to the hardships of this fallen world, for“ we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.”  Hebrews 4:15

God loves you, literally to death. He certainly marks your steps and holds you secure. He is not reckless concerning your future.
