Let Your Heart Have Peace
Today’s Through the Bible Reading: Matt. 23:37- 24:28; Mark 12:41- 13:23; Luke 21:1-24
We’re living in the last days and that comes with a choice. Our heart can be filled with terror as we watch the world around us, or our focus can be turned upward. To see God's promises and prophecy unfold right before our very eyes is a privilege. We can anticipate and expect Him to meet our every need, even in troubled times.
Just as God told us, the times are growing dark (2 Tim 3:1-5). However, in the midst of trouble, Jesus encouraged us:
And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass… Matthew 24:6
Our hearts can rejoice as we see God's Word being fulfilled. We can obey by sharing the Gospel with those around us. Our eyes can be turned upward and our minds filled with God's Word.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4
God is good. He is faithful to keep His promises and He promised to come again! Soon and very soon we are going to see our King.
