We’ve seen time and time again, “For every Old Testament picture there is a New Testament principle.” God gave us examples in the Old Testament that revealed His character, i.e., in the way He led His people, Israel. Those same attributes follow through in His loving care for us.

What is God Like? His Nature, Character and Attributes? We get to Know God as He Reveals Himself in His Word. By daily taking in God’s Word and looking at the whole counsel of God, we gain an accurate perspective regarding Him whom we worship, adore, trust, obey, and look to for our EVERY need.

Ever heard of Huldah? Well, that's who we learned about at this weeks Women's Bible study and she is amazing. She played a vital role in Israel’s revival and reformation.  Yet her name is mentioned only once; her message was brief; her role subtle; but her words were His Words and as such had a profound impact.

Read and pray every single day! That's a constant reminder here at Applegate and I LOVE it!  It's important that we're reminded to put first things first...And God's Word should come first.

God is in control of this out-of-control world! God created ALL things and sustains ALL things. This includes our own individual lives and the world we live in. We serve an AWESOME God who is the creator of ALL things and is coming again to restore and take back ALL things.

Just like physical dirt, sin spreads and has an effect on everything around it. Praise the Lord for His blood that covers, for His Word that washes, and for His Spirit that gives new life!

Let it not be said of us that we have lost our first love! Let's take a fresh look at the Cross and stir our hearts anew.

Hope means: The absolute expectation of coming good

Hope is our hearts and minds being convinced that God WILL do what He says. That is far more than an emotion or a pep talk that we give ourselves.
